Week 9 of The Damn Thing
The Fantasy Suite episode of The Bachelorette was boring. No other way to explain it. The most exciting thing I got from this episode were the commercials for Bachelor in Paradise. Seriously. They showed us Chris, Jordan, Colton, Tia, and most importantly LOTS of tears. I mean lots of tears with all of our faves. If suffering through Arie and Becca gives us a stellar season of Bachelor in Paradise then it’ll all be worth it. There better be some serious drama on BiP or

Week 8 of The Damn Thing
Hometowns have always been an exciting and entertaining part of The Bachelor franchise. Who can forget Jojo’s a-hole brothers and her mom swigging wine straight from the bottle? With Becca, like most of this season, they were pretty boring. There were a few nuggets so let’s get to it. First up was Garrett. His family lives in what appears to be rural California. Garrett tells Becca his family has an “agricultural operation” as they look out over a pasture full of dirt an

Week 7 of The Damn Thing
NOTE – This week is rather long as the Colton disclosure is a lot to discuss. The rest of the episode was pretty boring so feel free to jump to the Colton section about halfway down if you’re short on time. You'll see it marked in bold where it starts. Week 7 of The Damn Thing took some turns I wasn’t ready for. Normally I write these things in chronological order of the show but I’m diverting this week. There wasn’t a lot of drama in this episode which was always my bigg

Week 6 of The Damn Thing
We start off Week 6 with Becca and Chris Harrison having a chat. Harrison is completely half assing it going through the motions. Becca is all excited talking about what a great group of guys she has and excited for the future including marriage. She’s even been reading some magazines on it and tearing pages. She’s clearly serious about this whole process. Harrison just nods and gives generic responses because he’s so numb to her “excitement.” He knows it’s likely not g

Week 5 of The Damn Thing
We came into Week 5 anticipating the MOST DRAMTIC 2x1 ever with Jordan and David. Before we could get to that we had some other things. There was a 1x1 with Colton and then a group date with something Becca said was the human form of Wayne Newton. I'm not totally convinced there was anything human about that “person” which we'll get to later. It's kind of surprising Becca and Colton hadn't already been on a 1x1 date. She's been gushing over him the whole time so kind of s
